Co-owner and Head Butcher; Michael Hecken studied his vocation in Germany and after working at a few different operations came to Canada on a work Visa and became indispensable to The Konig Meat & Sausage Company and soon became an Owner Operator and when not at work enjoys camping and hunting with his wife and Son.
Co-owner. Craig McGowan has worked in the food service and tourism industry for many years with companies like The Hyatt Group, Disney, Beaches Resorts and Royal Caribbean. He met Michael during his time on the Invermere Fire Department and that was the start of a great friendship and business partner. Craig enjoys all of the recreational life Invermere has to offer with his wife, son and daughter.
Resident Foodie and Chef. Ronda Konchak is the heart of our lunch and deli operation as well as the creative force behind many of the most popular products in our store to date. Ronda’s testing ground starts at home where she tests out her creations on her Husband, Son and daughter.
